YA Librarian 2.0: Cutting Edge Services for Teens

The effects of the web and emerging technology on research and locating information has been largely documented and discussed. We’ve discussed and debated Web 2.0, and even Library 2.0, - but what about Reading for Pleasure 2.0? What impact will technology have on how we read for enjoyment? We’re already seeing the beginnings of it among the members of our current Net-savvy generation. Young Adult Literature 2.0 might be Reading for the Future. And if we're going to keep up with the teens we're serving, we must become YA Librarian 2.0

YA Librarian 2.0 is up-to-date on all the lastest technology that's popular with teens and, most importantly, can use that technology to draw teens into libraries and hook them on reading. If you're a YA Librarian 2.0, please share some of your services and activities here so we can all upgrade to better serve our teens.

To add your own YA Librarian 2.0 services, programs, lessons or other ideas & comments to the blog, feel free to use the "Edit Page" function at the top of the page! The password is "dewey."
